Did it surprise you to know that a third to a half of the global population are introverts? That means two to three people in your immediate circle, whether friends, family, children, coworkers, or spouse, feel more alive, capable, and rejuvenated in quieter environments.

Whether you are an introvert or an extrovert, the goal of this course was to enlighten you that introversion is okay. Today, the society views the man of action vs the man of contemplation biasedly. Even the education system that we are taught to trust from a tender edge seems to have a completely wrong opinion about the capabilities of introverts.

In most cases, teachers see the extroverted student as the best learner because they readily interact with their colleagues and engage in group work assignments without holding back. But there is power in being an introvert. Introverts generate their ideas free from the distortion of group dynamics or thinking mentality because they love immersing themselves in solo flight thoughts. Evidently, more than half of the world’s most successful people in business, technology and other fields have been proven to be introverts.

  • Introverts are Careful

The innate power of solitude makes one careful in every decision they make. An introvert will often never take outsized risks, let alone take a single calculated risk without deep contemplation. On the other hand, extroverts are constantly craving large amounts of stimulation that can lead to risky decisions without taking a 360 around the possible outcomes.

  • Introverts Are Built for Leadership Positions

Often, introversion and shyness are assumed to be one and the same thing but they are not. Adam Grant conducted a study at the Wharton School and found that introverts often make good leaders with better outcomes than extroverts. This is evident from some of the quiet, soft-spoken, and transformative leaders that we have had in history, including Eleanor Roosevelt, Rosa Parks, and Mahatma Gandhi. Unlike extroverts, introverted leaders have a self-drive that propels them to do what is right

It’s Never That Serious—Let People See Your Introverted Side

Being an introvert comes with freedom, privacy, and autonomy, the right ingredients to mold you into an extraordinary being you can ever imagine. Don’t fret from wandering into the wilderness, just like Moses, Buddha, and did. Go into solitude and seek revelations about your purpose in life. At the same time, open your suitcase and let others busk on your energy and joy. Sharing is caring. After all, no one is 100% introverted.
